you ate Hamtaro!

I just wanted to provide you all with a link to the world's cutest food. Bentos made up like cartoon characters and such. Imagine opening up your lunch as a kid and chowing down on Kero Kero Keroppi's face. That would be so much fun! Also check out the beautiful maki rolls. I can't imagine how you would even begin to make a butterfly of different colored rice in a roll. I am in awe of the skill. And I'm hungry too.

I suppose it really helps that Japanese cartoons for kids are so simply drawn. Otherwise, you'd need a lot of different stuff to make the faces. But that's cool!. Would it bother you to eat something that resembles someone? Would you eat the eyes first so it won't see its own demise!

Stay tuned!

Trench: I don't mind eating bento that looks like Hamtaro, after all when you consume said bento you absorb the power of the eaten...I have become stronger, more intelligent, the more bento with faces I consume the more powerful I will become....why do I crave sunflower seeds?

We eat so much food here that resembles living things. I remember eating the heads of animal crackers first, but Teddy Grahams it was the arms and legs first. We have Spongebob Squarepants-shaped macaroni and cheese, chocolate easter bunnies, gummy bears and worms and children (Sour Patch Kids) and cereal shaped like everything you can imagine. So, I don't think it would bother me - seems pretty normal.

I guess that's true. I'll have to be more aware of the things I stick in my mouth that might look like my friends and relatives!
